Flavour Fest 2006

Glenn was invited to participate in 'Flavour Fest 2006' which is a festival of local produce held in Plymouth City centre and organised by Plymouth City Council. Flavour Fest is the UK's largest farmers market with an estimated 12,000 visitors over the three days.

There were 14 local chefs invited to demonstrate their cooking skills in the 'Chefs Theatre' over three days. For Glenn, this involved cooking three dishes that showcased the very best of local produce and also allowed the viewing public a chance to see what we do and how we do it, here at The Well House.

Glenn found it a valuable exercise and it will be something that he will do again.

He is hoping to do a similar demonstration at Mount Edgcumbe in December.

Also keep an eye out for Flavour Fest 2007 which will be held next year from August 17th until August 20th.
