You can still bring your dog with you

Although the Hotel does not accept dogs, we ourselves are dog lovers. We understand that your dog is part of your family and as such you do not want to leave him or her at home during your break.

We also understand your disappointment at not being able to stay here with your pet and enjoy the legendary fine dining, luxurious surroundings and hospitality of The Well House.

Also, of course, the sea, beaches and long walks through the spectacular Cornish countryside that make owning a dog such a pleasure.

Pelynt Boarding Kennels, situated just twenty minutes drive away near Looe, offers you the opportunity of staying with us and at the same time enabling your dog to stay near you in safe, caring and comfortable surroundings.

Pelynt Boarding Kennels is set in tranquil garden surroundings with grass play paddocks.

Grooming and clipping facilities are available, and to put your mind at rest, so are the on site services of our local vet David Ellis, BVSc, MRVCS.

Your dog may be collected each morning and returned to its own 'hotel' at the end of a tiring day. A good night's sleep for both dog and owners and you are ready for the next day's adventures.
