The perfect romantic Cornwall wedding venue
If you are planning on getting married in Cornwall it would be difficult to find many wedding reception venues more romantic and idyllic than The Well House.
The view from our terraces over the picturesque Looe Valley is simply breathtaking and without doubt one of the finest in Cornwall.
We can cater for intimate weddings with a small number of guests in our restaurant, through to larger gatherings of up to 100 people for a sit down wedding breakfast or up to 150 people for a buffet in a fully dressed marquee set up in our beautiful landscaped gardens. We also have ample parking available or alternatively why not let us arrange transport to and from The Well House for your guests.

To add to the uniqueness of your wedding celebrations here, we are lucky to have the world famous St Keyne Well on our property, the full story about which and a poem by a past Poet Laureate can be found elsewhere on this website.
However, the spell cast by St Keyne herself in the sixth century simply states:
“whoever drinks first of the water of this well, a man or his wife, will have the mastery in their wedded life.”
Needless to say there is usually a rush to get to the well first!
