“I hired the entire Well House in December, as a special celebration for my girlfriend Jane’s birthday. My intention was to enable 20 plus family and friends to be able to enjoy a ‘Country House’ weekend with all their needs looked after in idyllic surroundings.

I am pleased to say everything went according to plan and our guests were overwhelmed by the standard of both food and accommodation. Most importantly everyone agreed it felt just like being in a "proper home”.

How much will it cost per person for a party of 20 to hire the Hotel?

The private hire of  The Well House is available for parties of 20 only and includes full managerial, kitchen and waiting staff. The Hotel may be hired for a minimum of one night from Sunday to Thursday and a minimum of two nights at the weekend i.e. Friday and Saturday. The cost below is per person, per night for a party of 20 hiring the hotel and includes dinners from our standard dinner menu, breakfasts and VAT . It does not include any beverages or gratuities or bespoke menus. The prices shown are applicable throughout the year, subject to availability, with the exceptions of Christmas and the New Year, Half Terms and Bank Holidays.

Cost per person for one night is from just £150 including VAT

Cost per person for two nights is from just £280 including VAT
